Each participant was classified into several categories based around how much they slept such as five hours or less, seven, eight, or more. The study results showed that participants who slept for at least seven hours each night had a lower \u201cheart age\u201d, potentially indicating a decreased risk for developing cardiovascular disease.<\/p>\n<p>Once again, this study and the many others that have revolved around sleep reinforce how important sleep is to your current and long term health. If sleep disorders such as insomnia are keeping you at night, it\u2019s time to take the steps to ensure you\u2019ve created an environment that is meant for sleep and that you\u2019re sleeping on a genuinely comfortable, supportive mattress.
